Upon learning of the bombing at the Church, Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr. sent a telegram to Alabama Governor George Wallace, a staunch and vocal segregationist, stating bluntly: 'The blood of our little children is on your hands." They are the best, all transportation services need to send their drivers to whatever program Burlington goes to, buses are great, drivers are so pleasant, and their customer service is outstanding!!!! My driver on bus 1489 was just wonderful, it's just not enough words to express how great Burlington makes me feel when I ride their buses!!!! Thank you Burlington you are appreciated!!!!!
Took Burlington Trailways from Davenport, IA to Des Monies (was heading to Springfield MO) and than took Burlington Trailways again from Des Monies to Davenport, IA. Was my first time ever taking a bus trip. I thought the driver was really helpful with helping me as it was my first time.
After riding buses all across this country I found the trip I took from Indianapolis to Burlington on board Trailways bus was the best experience ever. The coach was clean and was extremely comfortable. Add to that our driver was courteous and treated us with compassion and respect. Definitely made this the best trip ever

However, Colvin is not nearly as well-known, and certainly not as celebrated, as Parks.
